Celebrating Our Launch Day!

After much anticipation, we launched Resilient Church's weekly worship services on August 28th. And it was truly a day we'll never forget! 175 of our friends joined us for worship, and heard a message about the church we strive to be. We also had the Vermillion Chamber of Commerce conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony during our service, and of course we had to celebrate with a pizza party afterwards!

All in all, we couldn't be more grateful for what God did in our launch Sunday. But what's even better is we get to do this every single week moving forward. It's easy to think the launch day of a new church is a finish line to all the efforts building up to it. But in reality, it's a new starting line. We're only at the beginning of the new redemptive work God has in store for Vermillion, the University of South Dakota, and our region. We're only getting started!
